Hello, I'm Paritah Sirataweepoom, the founder of Pho Thong. After decades in management at ARL - Airport Rail Link, the Bangkok airport express line, I decided to return to the roots of my Thai heritage.
the WAT PHO
Massage school in Bangkok is the first and most renowned address in maintaining the Thai massage tradition and state-recognized training to become a certified masseuse.
It is located in a beautiful monastery (Wat) in the royal residence district and houses the famous reclining Buddha.
Since I was able to enjoy my training there, I chose the name Pho Thong for my spa as a respect for the excellent teachers and masters there and this school.
the tea after
a Thai massage is common in the Thai tradition. This custom has both symbolic and practical reasons. The tea helps to refresh the body after the massage and invigorate the circulation. It offers a pleasant opportunity to slowly collect yourself and calm down.
The scent and taste of the tea can also have a calming effect and increase the relaxation effect of the massage.
